WEEK 19 (MAY 17)

After a week


After a week of working with this project, I did not move forward a lot because all I was doing was Unwrapping. So this blog post will be short. Gotta save that time :)

I started with robotic arms. It was hard at first, all these wires and small details were not easy to work with. But it is convenient to duplicate it everywhere once they are unwrapped.




Wasting time

There was a lot of time spent not wisely. I was wasting time on small details and probably a camera or viewer won't be able to pick them unless they will inspect the model. I keep forgetting that the overall view is more important than small details. I need to work with myself. You live and learn, right?


Other robots


As I mentioned before, unwrapping other robots was a bit easier because I used the same parts. I modified it but still, the base is similar and unwrapped, so all I needed is to relax the unwrapped UV shape and move some points.


A screenshot above shows how I transferred some of the small parts to a new base. 


When all of the three robots were finished there were standing side by side quite proudly.


The other thing that I had time to touch is robot_carrier. I added more details and unwrapped it. Here some quick renders.


Next week

Next week is almost here and a lot of work is waiting for me. 
I have a lot of things to unwrap and finalize. Wait for the next update. 
Is going to be crazy at the e n d.
